ABOUT CONTACT

In the otherwise quiet winter, when everything rests and gathers new strength, we meet traditionally under the roofs of the colossal halls of the city! Far away from normality, here, as every year, a powerful fusion of restless ravers and impelling artists becomes the ultimate spectacle for all the senses. Technically innovative unique pieces, enveloped by haunting sounds, transport every impulse of musical superlatives into the heated bodies. The journey can begin, let Contact begin!

A big thanks goes out to all the ravers who brought their energy and passion to the Contact dancefloor. Together we defied all odds and created another incredible Contact Festival experience.

We would also like to say a special thank you to everyone who made the unbelievable happen. In the morning we faced huge challenges. The location was completely snowed in and unplayable, the staff didn't know how to get there and the artists could no longer reach Munich and southern Bavaria.
Nevertheless, the team decided to make the Contact Festival possible for all of you. A postponement was never an option for a festival of this size.
The artists were flown in via Frankfurt, Zurich, Salzburg and Nuremberg and then spent hours in the car to not disappoint the guests in the evening. Climbers cleared the roofs from the masses of snow and over 100 helpers were deployed to secure parking spaces and to make a wonderful Contact Festival possible for you in the evening.
We know that some of you are disappointed that this year's Contact Festival could not take place for you, but for the vast majority of guests we were able to provide the best possible contact experience. We will come up with something for those who were disappointed. More on this in the next few days.

Ein großes Dankeschön geht an alle Raver, die ihre Energie und Leidenschaft auf den Contact Dancefloor gebracht haben. Gemeinsam haben wir allen Widrigkeiten getrotzt und ein weiteres unglaubliches Contact Festival Erlebnis geschaffen.

Wir wissen, dass einige von euch enttäuscht sind, dass das diesjährige Contact Festival für sie nicht stattfinden konnte, aber für die große Mehrheit der Gäste konnten wir das bestmögliche Contact Erlebnis bieten. Für diejenigen, die es nicht geschafft haben, werden wir uns etwas einfallen lassen. Mehr dazu in den nächsten Tagen.
